ABOUT LAUREL
Laurel grew up in West Valley City, Utah and is the third of five siblings. She loved going on road trips with her family and has visited 42 of the 50 United States. Her favorite vacation spot was Lake Powell in Southeastern Utah, where she and her family would camp on the beach, go waterskiing and tubing for hours, and jump off the beautiful, red-rock cliffs.
LAUREL LOVES MUSIC
Laurel comes from a very musical family. She enjoys listening to and playing many different types of music. Some of her favorites include classic rock, Frank Sinatra, and adventure movie soundtracks (i.e. Jurassic Park, Indiana Jones, and Star Wars). She plays the piano, organ, and guitar and would love to learn to play the banjo. She has taught piano lessons to some of her nieces and nephews and looks forward to the opportunity to share music with her own children.
LAUREL LOVES HER NIECES AND NEPHEWS
Laurel has three nieces and five nephews. She enjoys playing games with them, reading stories, painting their nails, teaching them how to cook and sew, and crocheting fun things for them. Laurel hopes to be able to enjoy these same activities with her own children.
LAUREL LOVES TO READ
One of her favorite memories growing up is reading Little House on the Prairie with her mom. Her favorite genre now is clean historical romance, especially if it takes place in England or Scotland. She recently participated in a fan art competition for a new novel set in Regency, England and was very excited to be selected as the winner.
